My favourite Ado song, and other thoughts

It's... SHOKA!!! I will make a post more in detail tomorrow...today was pretty busy.

So truth be told...my interactions and experience with the Ado fandom on reddit was what got me started on neocities...

I loved the reddit community, and r/Ado was honestly the most chill fandom space I've been on! But still, it's not the most forgiving at times...

I made mess up a few days ago...Which could have been fixed if someone told me. It was a small thing, but someone then made a post vagueing mine...and people added onto it too. While it's a small thing, it still got me so anxious that people won't tell you things directly on the internet, and would instead make vaguing posts like this. It's happened in other fandoms too.

While its a little troublesome to correct me, I do wish it was more normalised! Vagueing is really scary and even more hurtful at times. It's a little toxic, in my opinion.

But that interaction was enough to get me spiralling, and feeling like nowhere was safe. I feel like I don't belong at times... but if the places where I felt remotely at home had a culture like this...? I wanted no place in it. So I decided to carve out a space on my own.

For now, I hope no one will see this space. It's just for me. But if you find your way here, this is a reminder to keep it non-judgemental (don't like, don't look! even if things here are meant to be harmless) and that it's a safe space for YOU too!
